About 170 Joblink Plus staff members from across New South Wales joined with Gomeroi Dance Company and Didgeridoo virtuoso Mark Atkins to stage the show near the maritime museum at 5.15pm.
The beauty of indigenous storytelling was shared through dance and performers were accompanied by one of Australia’s finest Didgeridoo players Mark Atkins.
Joblink Plus chief executive Christine Shewry said staff from across regional NSW came together to learn the traditional Gomeroi dance.
“The goal of bringing our staff together … was to build relationships and enhance collaboration across our organisation,” she said.
“To be able to collectively create a shared experience and sense of celebration and achievement is immensely powerful and the results of which will be reflected culturally, and productively within the workplace and the communities we serve.”
