A COURT has been told three people charged with a raft of offences stemming from alleged crime spree from Quirindi to Tamworth are in negotiations to resolve the charges.

Samone Leanne Hall, Jonathan Nean and Nicholas Hampton all remain in custody on charges of armed robbery as well as aggravated break-and-enter and police pursuit.
The court heard the trio are standing trial for four armed robberies, an aggravated break-and-enter and larceny as well as a police pursuit between September 11 and 12, last year, with the trial set down to run for at least eight days.
Hall remains in custody at Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre and appeared via video link in Tamworth District Court on Tuesday where the matter was stood over for two days to allow her barrister to discuss the charges.
Warrants had been issued from the courts to arrest the pair after they allegedly breached their bail or failed to front court.
On Thursday, Hall’s solicitor Peter Schmidt said a barrister had conferenced Hall in prison on Wednesday.
“We’ve made representations to the Crown,” he told the court.
Barristers for Nean and Hampton told the court they had made “representations” to the Crown, but DPP solicitor Donna Harris said a report needed to be considered.
Public defender Stuart Bouveng told the court earlier this week Hampton was “anxious” and wanted to finalise the matter.
"He's anxious to get out of Tamworth jail," he said. “We have made an offer to the Crown, some time ago.”
The court heard the Crown was “understandably waiting to bundle everything together” before it finalised negotiations.
Judge Jeffery McLennan adjourned the case to mid-October for mention, with a trial slated for November. All three made no application for bail.
Police allege three people were armed with a knife and screwdriver and stole goods including cash and a Mitsubishi Lancer from inside a Centre St home in Quirindi on September 11, last year.
Officers allege the stolen Lancer was sighted five hours a later on Goonoo Goonoo Rd, Tamworth, before a pursuit was initiated by police.
A short time later, they were arrested after the vehicle stopped at Currububula.
