Earning 16 caps before switching codes and joining Eastern Suburbs, Papworth will be the special guest at the Gunnedah Red Devil’s annual Sportsman’s lunch on October 13.
“We’re looking forward to hearing Brett talk on where rugby is situated at the moment,” Red Devils’ president Bruce Hockings said.
He said anyone is welcome. Tickets are $80 and include canapes and lunch, and can be purchased from Hennessy Real Estate.
NSW Country Eagles coach Darren Coleman has meanwhile made two changes to the starting side for their clash with Queensland Country.
