The 17-year-old became stuck in the roof cavity of a Flemming Cr house shortly after 8pm on Sunday.
Police were called to the house after reports of a malicious damage to a passerby’s car.
The 17-year-old allegedly ran alongside a woman inside her car in Lambert Pl, shortly after 8pm and jumped on her bonnet.
He’s then accused of kicking her front windscreen several times, causing it to smash. He fell onto the roadway when the woman drove off, and then ran into the Flemming Cr home.
Officers negotiated with the man for some time before he surrendered and became stuck and had to be rescued by Fire and Rescue NSW crews.
He was charged with malicious damage as well as aggravated break-and-enter stemming from an unrelated incident in Petra Ave on September 17.
He appeared in Tamworth Children’s Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was refused bail to reappear next month.
