Glen Innes’ Alex Newsome will wear the 13 on his back for the first time this season after starting at fullback in the Eagles’ opening two games. Henry Clunies-Ross meanwhile starts on the wing for the first time this year.
In the forwards Tim Buchanan and Rohan O’Regan return, with Lachlan Swinton and Nick Kellaway going to the bench.
Quirindi product and Brumbies co-captain Sam Carter hasn’t been named in the Vikings side, while former TAS student Jock Armstrong missed out on a bench spot for the Eagles after getting time against Fiji.
