Porch is one of seven key players coach Andy Friend has secured the signatures of as the group eyes silverware at three big tournaments next year.
James Stannard, Jesse Parahi, Sam Myer and rookie Ben O'Donnell have also signed on until the end of 2018, while Simon Kennewell and Liam McNamara are locked in until the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
"It hasn't necessarily been a long process but for certain players they had some big decisions to make," Friend said.
"Really pleased that those guys have committed their energies towards the sevens program. They've got the long-term future of Tokyo 2020 in their sights. That's really pleasing. We've got a mix of one-year, two-year and three-year players."
After being knocked out by South Africa in the quarter-finals of the Rio Olympics, Australia finished a disappointing sixth in the 2016/17 World Sevens Series.
Immediately after Rio, there was a large turnover of players, with Friend keen to blood new up-and-coming stars with a vision towards three major tournaments in 2018; the Sydney Sevens (January), Commonwealth Games (April) and Rugby World Cup Sevens (July).
"It never sounds good, sixth place, but it's important to note in the last 18 months we've moved on 20 players, so we've had a massive shift within our personnel in the sevens program," Friend said.
"I'm really comfortable and confident with the group we've got. There will be some additions as we head not only into this season but as we head towards Tokyo. The majority of the squad there is firming itself nicely.
"Sixth place I think was fair with what he had. What's important is we do win things this year. Sydney Sevens, Commonwealth Games and World Cup. They're the three we'd like to win."
Lewis Holland will be captain for the upcoming season, which begins in Dubai on December 1, and will be assisted in the leadership group by Stannard, Parahi and Tom Lucas.
