The group of 65-odd riders left Woolgoolga on Sunday morning after two days of sightseeing in the coastal town and fundraising along the way.
The mountain bikers tackled several single tracks and the coast line on day one on Saturday before several hills on Sunday morning as they headed off the beaten track to Grafton.
The group will head to Dalmorten on Monday where the Hunter River Lancers from Tamworth will set up a makeshift camp for the night. From there, the riders wind their way back through the New England through Guyra, Armidale and Walcha before riding into Tamworth on Friday. To donate, head to rescuehelicopter.com.au.
