Warriors hit their way to a 5-3 win and a grand final match-up with Armidale Outlaws. The defending champions jumped out a 2-nil lead after the first innings and were never headed from there.
The Outlaws will feature in both grand finals after their B grade side got up 7-6 over Warriors.
NORTHERN INLAND PREMIER LEAGUE
North Companions will face reigning champions Oxley Vale Attunga in the grand final after toppling Norths United 2-1 win.
Go-to man Brodie King delivered again with his strike in the final few minutes sealing the one-goal win after scores were locked at 1-all at half-time.

Macintyre Warriors claimed their first premiership after edging out Narwan Eels 26-22 in an enthralling grand final. Logan McGrady, Malcolm McGrady, David McGrady, Brandon McGrady and Derrick Craigie scored for the Warriors, while John Roberts and Jarred Edwards bagged doubles for the Eels.
Moree Boomerangs got up in a tight reserve grade encounter over the Warriors 24-22.
In the U18’s a hat-trick to Brady Mather helped Inverell prevail over Tingha 20-16 while Glen Innes trashed Moree Boomerangs 20-nil in the ladies league tag.

The UNE Lions had tough first day in Brisbane for the third round of the series, going down to Bond University 22-nil, Griffith University 34-nil and the University of Canberra 29-14.
NATIONAL RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP
The NSW Country Eagles were beaten by the Fijian Drua 31-14 in front of a huge crowd at Lawaka Park, Fiji.
Trailing 10-7 at half-time, two converted tries in the five minutes straight after the break clipped the Eagles’ wings, and they never recovered.
