Northern Inland’s brightest young female footballers will converge on Coffs Harbour this weekend for the annual Telstra State SAP Championships for Girls.

Hosted by Northern NSW Football the championships will run from Saturday through to Monday, and pit Northern Inland against teams from the Hunter Valley, Football Mid North Coast, Macquarie Football, North Coast Football, NNSWF Newcastle SAP, NNSWF Select SAP, Adamstown Rosebud JFC, Wallsend FC and Warners Bay FC.
“The championships provide the participants with an opportunity to represent their respective zones and skill acquisition programs and benchmark their development against their peers in a competitive environment,” NNSWF Chief Executive Officer David Eland said.
Coached by Adam Ramage the Northern Inland 14s have drawn North Coast, Warners Bay and Hunter Valley on the first day while the Maree Wise-coached 12s will take on Hunter Valley and NNSW New SAP.
The championships will run from Saturday through to Monday and see the Northern Inland 12s taking on Hunter Valley and NNSW New SAP on the first day and the 14s North Coast, Warners Bay and Hunter Valley.
