A country artist with a heart for the trucking community, Denham’s new single continues the ride, which has seen her signed with US manager, Stacey Willbur.
She’s been performing high-octane shows across the United States, including the Mid-American Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky and The Great American Trucking Show, in Dallas, Texas, where she’s set to perform again and will launch the music video for her latest release.
Stacks is the first single lifted from the artist’s forthcoming EP slated for release in early 2018.
It was co-written by Denham, Phil Barton and ACM nominated songwriter, Brian White, who also produced the track, which was recorded at Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts) studio in Nashville with Jay playing bass.
“While writing for my next record in Nashville, my producer, Brian White and I were brainstorming ideas about trucking songs,” Denham said.
“He mentioned the title ‘Stacks’, which immediately took me back to my childhood,”
“I remember as a kid going to truck races and seeing all those blinged up rigs screaming around the track.
“One of my favourite parts of the day was when the drivers would put the pedal to the metal and you would hear this loud roar and smoke come from those 11 feet of galvanized Chrome Stacks.”
