It was the RSPCA’s national Cupcake Day, with residents of Peel River Gardens taking part to help animals in need.
Residents gathered at the village for a special fundraising afternoon tea.
Some even brought along their own small dogs to join in the charitable fun.
Peel River Gardens was one of many Tamworth organisations to come on board with the cause.
Nationally, more than $330,000 was raised for the RSPCA – money which will assist to re-home and provide treatment to neglected, or abandoned, animals.
If you would still like to organise your own event during August, (time is running out) simply register online with the RSPCA.
