It’s the recipe behind one of the first-time displays at Commonwealth Bank AgQuip, coming up this week.

BKT Tyres, a regular fixture at the Agquip field days, will have a stand featuring a three-metre-high by six-metre-long sand sculpture to be created over five days.

International sand sculptor Jino van Bruinessen will be leading the sculpting team when they start work on Monday, with its completion on Thursday.

AgQuip, which runs in Gunnedah from Tuesday to Thursday, allows more than 3000 exhibitors to showcase their products directly to regional buyers. 

Exhibitors also use the field days as a chance to unveil or release new products direct to their market. 

Among them is CaseIH, who will showcase its driverless tractor at its only showing in Australia.

It will be unveiled Tuesday morning at a special function to celebrate 175 years of Case machinery and tractors, since the first threshing machines were built by Jerome Case in Racine, Wisconsin.

A major focus of the annual event is on farming families as the event continues to cater for special interests and subject areas such as new releases, new technology, health, farm safety, green power and lifestyle products.

The Commonwealth Bank AgQuip field days, located on Blackjack Rd in Gunnedah, run from Tuesday to Thursday.
