And NSW Business Chamber regional manager Joe Townsend says he expects that whoever goes on to contest the state awards “will do very well”.
Gunnedah’s Civic Centre will be the venue for the event on September 1.
Businesses and individuals in 11 categories will be vying to be named the best in the region.
The regional business awards recognise excellence in business, leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability, innovation, business growth and employment practices.
This is the event’s fifth year.
CROSS-SECTION
Mr Townsend said this year’s finalists were “a fantastic cross-section of businesses and successful entrepreneurs” from across the region.
“Based on the calibre of this year’s finalists, I expect that our regional winners will do very well at the NSW Business Chamber state awards held in November this year,” Mr Townsend said.
“It is always a proud moment to witness a business owner, who pays their selves last, finally receive recognition of their success and contribution to the community.”
Based on the calibre of this year’s finalists, I expect that our regional winners will do very well.
