This year's theme: Future Earth.
"(It’s) about getting people, and especially students, to think about where the earth is going ... and the possibilities that we could potentially change," Wes Leedham said.
Mr Leedham, the Warrumbungle Education Centre principal, tasked Year 6 students with constructing "insect hotels" from understorey found in the school gardens, while students from Farrer High School helped the younger groups conduct their experiments, which included soil studies and a native animals presentation by Taronga Zoo.
