The Australian Federal Labor Party contacted the NZ Labor party for their opinion re Barnaby Joyce's Citizenship. The Kiwi's claimed Barnaby to be a Kiwi because his father was born in NZ.

The Federal Liberal party has a majority of one and if they could force Barnaby to stand down until the Australian High Court decides about Barnaby's Citizenship status the Labor party could [I presume] bring down the Liberal Government.
Barnaby was born in Tamworth and as far as the everyday Australian is concerned he is an Aussie.
When Labor was in Government I recall Barnaby taking the Labor member around his electorate and introducing him to the people. We regard that as a very Aussie thing to do. Barnaby was born in Australia and to our way of thinking Barnaby showed a true Aussie generosity.
Barnaby is an Aussie.
