The Northern Inland coaching team, which is headed by Tim Coates and Neil Wheaton, have elected to name two sides, as the Jets have also done, with one side to play the first half and the other the second.
Watson will lead one team and Boundy the other, which does also include his younger brother Brendon.
“They’re all excited,” Coates said of what will be a rare and special opportunity.
It will be the first time most of them have had the chance to face players of the Jets’ calibre.
One notable exception is former Jet, and now Tamworth FC striker Troy Hearfield, who incidentally, Coates said, played alongside now Jets keeper Glen Moss at the Wellington Phoenix.
Featuring a blend of young and older heads, and a good cross-section of players from the various Northern Inland clubs, Coates is looking forward to seeing how they fare against the A-League side.
