The annual event was held on Sunday at the Tamworth Sports Dome.
The popularity of the event is drawn from how enjoyable the carnival is.
While the day is competitive, fun is at the forefront of the day.
“There was 74 teams – about 750 players – and with the good weather, it creates a great atmosphere which makes for a great, generally fun day,” Tamworth Netball Association’s Lisa Fox said.
“A lot of clubs use it to have a lot of fun. Coaches will let players play in different positions and that sort of thing.”
The day was also about coming together and is all inclusive.
The come and try aspect meant people were able to come down and play without any prior experience which saw a number teams made up of entire families take part on the day.
