The 20 year old has made a miraculous recovery, since suffering life-threatening injuries when a bull threw him and stepped on his chest at the College National Finals Rodeo, in Wyoming.
Gray sustained broken ribs, a bruised aorta and collapsed lungs in the accident and had no pulse when he arrived at the Wyoming Medical Centre.
He underwent surgery, and was in a medically-induced coma, on a ventilator.
Gray has vowed to make a return to bull riding – once he is fully recovered.
