About 9.45am, police and paramedics were called to the intersection of Plain and Avro Streets in Taminda after a ute and SUV collided.

Police said the woman was treated for spinal precautions after the airbags in the car deployed.
Both her and the child were taken to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition.
The ute driver was not injured.
Both cars sustained significant damage.
Investigations into the cause of the crash continue.
