In a bid to help prevent unwanted litters, the branch is offering vouchers for $80 towards the desexing of female and $50 for male animals to pet owners who hold concession or pension cards.
Volunteers from the branch will be at the Tamworth Regional Youth Centre on Wednesday, August 2 for the RSPCA and TAFE microchipping day.
They’re happy to talk to participants about their desexing program along with the application progress and eligibility requirements.
‘We are very proud to say we have allocated $5000 to this program and we want it put back into community where it matters....to our four legged companions,” Branch president Marie Fenn said.
