Wright completed 256 laps of the historic village, recording 128km in just one day, although that was like a walk in the park for the unstoppable man, who last year won the Caboolture 48 hour race on the same course.
“I started running, but by the early hours of the morning I was doing whatever I could to keep moving forward,” Wright said.
The man-machine has a long list of ultra achievements, all driven by his quest to help find a cure for cancer.
“It was the two year anniversary of Luke Hannaford’s death, so I wore his pink shirt,” Mr Wright said.
The marathon man has already acquired his next target, and it’s big.
“I am going to run from Sydney to Melbourne in ten days next year.”
