Bradie Gray’s parents, Mick and Sharon, have remained by his side at the Wyoming Medical Center since the accident that left him with broken ribs, a bruised aorta and collapsed lungs.
Mr Gray is on the road to recovery, leaving the ICU on June 29. He even walked to his new room that same day, according to the Wyoming Medical Center.
“Bull rider Bradie Gray continues to improve, though his therapy can still wear him out,” the centre posted to Facebook.
“He has worked on climbing stairs and continues to walk when he feels up to it. One reason he’s working so hard? He’s anxious to get back to Australia so he can see his 6-month-old nephew, Wylee, for the first time.”
His family thanked everyone for their support via the Facebook page.
