Gunnedah captain-coach Greg Piggott warned: “We’re starting to play some reasonable football … We’re starting to play with the structure we want.”
Conversely, the Bulldogs will encounter a Swans outfit playing with little or no structure.
A goalless 216-point loss to Inverell two weeks ago was followed by a 161-point loss to the Kangaroos.
Piggott can sympathise with their plight.
“It’s obviously tough for the Swans,” he said.
“Four years ago we got the wooden spoon and won one game.
“So we turned it around pretty quickly.
“It more about us playing the sort of football that we know will be competitive come the end of the year.”
In the other game on Saturday, Moree host the Nomads.
