Legendary hoop Malcolm Johnston, who rode Kingston Town and many other Group 1 winners, will also join the Tamworth Jockey Club event on August 24.
Sky presenter Greg Radley will be the MC for the evening, which will include a memorabilia auction.
Jones, who rode for 30 years, left behind his wife, Sheridan and two boys, Will, 15, and Jacob, 13.
“We hope a substantial sum of money is raised for the benefit of Darren’s family,” said Hunter and North West Racing Association chairman Rod Watt said.
Watt said along with raising money, the evening was designed to “show solidarity” towards the family.
“A member of the racing community suffered the ultimate loss,” he said.
He added: “Very good items the auctioneer will do and the rest of the items will be put on a table and people will put bids on those.
“There will also be a table where direct donations can be made.”
Hundreds attended Jones’ funeral at Tamworth Jockey Club on April 20.
The Northern Daily Leader reported that he was “remembered as a devoted family man and an unrivalled horseman”.
Bowman is Australia’s No.1 jockey and arguably the world’s top big race hoop.
With 13 Group 1 winners this season, he has tied the record set by Shane Dye in successive seasons, 1996-97 and 1997-98.
Bowman also won three majors in Hong Kong.
But like Johnston with Kingston Town, Bowman will be remembered most for his connection with Winx, who has won 17 consecutive stakes races.
The dinner will commence at 6.30pm.
The $50 tickets are available at Tamworth Jockey Club, with $30 of that amount going to the family.
This week Watt told The Northern Daily Leader that Racing NSW chairman Russell Balding would be in Tamworth this month for a discussion forum on the industry’s new strategic plan.
