Woman taken to hospital
A WOMAN injured in Wednesday morning’s crash on the outskirts of Tamworth has been taken by ambulance to hospital.

A spokesperson for Ambulance NSW said the woman suffered suspected spinal injuries.
She was assessed at the scene by the doctor and paramedic crew from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The woman was then taken by ambulance to Tamworth hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The chopper then returned to base.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
Emergency services on scene
A WOMAN trapped in a car that rolled near Tamworth has been freed by emergency services.
Police, paramedics and rescue crews were called to Nundle Rd at Woolomin, near Duncan’s Creek Rd, about 7.15am on Wednesday after reports a car had rolled.
The woman was trapped for more than an hour but was freed from the wreckage about 8.30am.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene with reports the woman was drifting in and out of consciousness.
She is expected to be flown to hospital, a spokesperson said.
The road was closed for sometime during the rescue operation with the car set to be towed from the scene.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday night the Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifted an 85-year-old man to John Hunter with a medical condition for further treatment.
