Shortly after 5.15pm on Monday, emergency services were called to the New England Highway at Bendemeer after reports a truck rolled.
Passerbys stopped to help the driver, who was carting a load of carrots, out of the cabin after about 20 minutes. Police said he suffered minor injuries.
A salvage operation continued on Tuesday morning to right the truck and investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
Meanwhile, three people were injured after their ute rolled near Glen Innes on Monday night.
The vehicle rolled 30 metres down an embankment at White Rock Wind Farm about 5.30pm on Monday.
Emergency services including VRA, police and paramedics were called to the scene and found three patients, including one who was trapped.
Once freed by rescue crews, a 22-year-old man was assessed by paramedics and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked from Tamworth.
The chopper, with a doctor and paramedics on board, collected the man before airlifting him to Tamworth Hospital with chest injuries.
He was reported to be in a stable condition.
The other two patients were taken to hospital via ambulance.
