The 31-year-old local woman remains on bail on eight stealing charges following her arrest earlier this month.
Oxley detectives took charge of the large-scale stealing investigation following a report that was made to police.
“A 31-year-old Gunnedah woman was arrested in relation to a large-scale stealing where she was employed as a delivery driver for a local transport company,” Oxley Inspector Michael Wurth told the Namoi Valley Independent.
“Police allege that between February, 2016, and April, 2017, a large number of communication devices had been stolen to the amount exceeding $90,000.”

Following investigations by Oxley detectives, they homed in on a Gunnedah woman in early June and raided a house, seizing several goods.
“Investigations led police to a 31-year-old female and a search warrant was executed on an address in Gunnedah on the 7th of June,” Inspector Wurth said.
“As a result of that, an amount of property was seized by police.
“An unknown person the following day attended Gunnedah Police Station and surrendered a number of items believed to be associated with the offence.”

Following investigations, detectives charged the 31-year-old with eight counts of larceny.
She has been granted conditional bail to front Gunnedah Local Court in July.
Inspector Wurth said it was a complex investigation.
“Some items have been recovered,” he said.
“It is an ongoing investigation. There are further inquiries being made into the circumstances of the stealings by police.” No other charges have been laid.
