Stu Baylis’ side went through undefeated with Jason Heaver – who’s gone from a sevens pennants player to reserve for the zone – playing some great bowls.

Fred Hall along with Chris Paslow held up the balance of the team with consistent bowls.

Captain Phil O’Reilly lost one game with Nev White playing outstanding bowls to be selected in the zone side along with Luke Russell also being selected.

Zac Curtis also played strongly alongside O’Reilly.

All players are thanked for the weekend and for bringing the shield back to Tamworth District along with Mick Morris for his attendance both days and the unofficial mascot Margi.
