On Saturday, miniature rail enthusiasts from across the state will converge on the city to join in on the celebrations.
The club was formed in 1996 and to celebrate the milestone there will be a ‘grand parade’ of trains on Saturday, June 17 at 1.30pm.
Sunday, June 18 is the public running day with $2 rides for all ages from 10am until 3pm.
A public running day is held on the third Sunday of every month.
The popular railway was the culmination of many years of hard work by volunteers from across the region and with the help of grants and Council support.
