The statewide long-weekend road blitz started at midnight Friday and runs until midnight Monday.
Police – who are targeting speeding, mobile phone use, alcohol and drug-affected drivers, and fatigue – have so far issued 2398 speeding fines, conducted 68,800 breath tests, charged 74 drivers with PCA, and reported 166 major crashes with one fatality.
