Police were called to a building supplies business on Dampier St in Taminda about 1am after reports a car smashed through the shop windows.
A 24-year-old woman failed a roadside breath test and later allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of .180 – more than three times the limit.
Police allege she lost control of her Hyundai Getz while headed north and crashed into the building.
She was charged with high-range PCA and had her licence suspended on the spot.
