For the fifth consecutive year, Calrossy Anglican School was named champion school at the North West Equestrian Expo at Coonabarabran.

Calrossy was also named champion team penning and champion horse ball.
It also won the Keronga Sporting Trophy, while a number of students took out their age division in various events.
The expo finished on Tuesday.
Molly Baker was the champion 12-year-old rider and Lara de Jong was named 13-year-old reserve champion. Sophie Maynes, 15, took out her age division and was named the most successful rider of the event, out of 420 competitors.
Calrossy also had some fantastic results in the Working Horse Challenge, with Angus Capel, Charlotte Ramsden and Maynes winning their divisions and several of our students placing second and third.
Ross Job, Annabelle Turnbull, Syke Peters and Caity Palmer won the Horse Ball competition, while Calrossy also won the Division 2 polocrosse with the team of Angus Capel, Hunter Dalzell and Sophie Hamilton-Smith.
The school’s division one polocrosse team of Annabelle and Holly Turnbull and Jess Melbourne narrowly lost the final to New England Girls’ School No.1 team.
Other outstanding performances saw Alicia Gault place first in the C grade one-day eventing and Olivia Ruttley won the division two novice dressage.
In the Warrumbungle Way pentathlon event, Ross Job won the 17-year-old division, with Hunter Dalzell second in the 14-year-old division.
Annabelle Turnbull and Grace Palmer placed fourth, while Isabelle Burke won her combined training.
Chloe Scicluna won Champion Pony Hack and Jessie Melbourne won the Champion Heavyweight Hack.
The Expo attracts entries from across Australia, including Sydney schools and leading equestrian schools across the country.
