Chasing their seventh straight win, Services were held to a 2-all draw in their women’s first grade clash.
“I was pretty happy with it. The girls played well,” Tudors coach Helen Willis said.
They scored first only for Services to level at 1-all at half-time. Services then went ahead for this time Tudors to find an equaliser.
Competitive in most of their games, Willis said it was a matter of the girls being confident and believing they can do it, and noted that some of the girls up front really stepped up.
“Through the midfield and strikers the girls put some good pressure on and used their speed to get in behind their (Services) defence,” she said.
McLean said her side just “weren’t switched on”.
“We just didn’t play our game. Tudors did defend well and mark a lot of us out of the game,” she said.
