“Don’t leave it until the last minute, otherwise we may have to totally drain the tank and refill with fresh water,” Mr Maloney says.
With cold weather settling in it’s easy to forget about rain, stock and bore tanks.
But now is an ideal time to have all tanks cleaned, to ensure spring water is free of insects, leaves and dust.
It was his personal experience that alerted Mr Maloney to the importance of professional tank cleaners.
“When we bought our home about 13 years ago one of our first tasks was to have the water tanks cleaned,” Mr Maloney said.
“I was shocked to see how much sludge was removed from inside the tank and was grateful we chose to have our tanks professionally cleaned.”
