I read your coverage on Superstorm Sandy(www.northerndaily-leader.com.au).
I remember watching the coverage of Yasi in Queensland a couple of years ago and hoping that I would never see something like that.
Well – Sandy isn’t like Yasi. Sandy has massive power outages, high winds and terrible flooding, for sure.
However, Sandy also has blizzard conditions on the middle fringes of the storm and here in Toronto, six hundred miles from Atlantic City, we are already experiencing high winds, power disruptions and one storm-related death (five miles from my home).
It’s one in the morning here – going to try to sleep but the occasional sirens are pretty loud – the storm is slated to hit us tomorrow (Wednesday)!
