On March 27, 31 Koolie dogs were seized from a Gunnedah property due to animal welfare concerns. On April 3, an additional 19 Koolie dogs were seized during a follow-up inspection.
An RSPCA spokesperson said the seizure was due to the owner’s failure to seek veterinary care for the remaining animals and improve living conditions.
The spokesperson said the dogs remained in care, with some still receiving veterinary treatment.
"Some of them are doing better than others,” the spokesperson said.
RSPCA NSW is still gathering evidence as part of the investigation including videos, photos and veterinary reports.
