Cameron McFarlane started teaching school kids CPR four years ago, and after running his latest seminar at William Cowper, can now boast teaching more than 5500 regional children the lesson that could save a life.
“Of all those kids I know of at least one that has performed CPR and been successful – it is a very important skill to have,” Mr McFarlane said.
“There is more awareness around it these days and the kids come in knowing a bit more than they used to. The push now is for the kids to go home and start the conversation with their parents, get them involved or at least start the conversation.”
