The Mushies do have two games to catch-up, one from the previous weekend and one from Saturday after all three games in Tamworth were washed out.
The only Round 7 fixture to go ahead was in Armidale when the Redmen recorded a 5-1 win over East Armidale.
Declan Druitt put the Redmen ahead 1-nil at half-time, and added a second in a four-goal second half.
They backed up Sunday to play their rescheduled first round clash with Joeys FC, coming away with a hard-fought 2-1 win.
Jason Boundy’s second half strike proved the match-winner with scores locked at 1-all at half-time. Joeys opened the scoring through Rod Prentis but Cody McCann got the Redmen back on level terms.
Demon Knights also posted a belated 3-2 first round win over South Armidale after leading 3-nil at half-time.
