SMALL schools are doing big things in the art world and they’re keen to show off their skills.

This weekend 18 small schools from across the region will showcase their work at the Small School Art Show, held at Currabubula School.

Members of the community are invited to check out the artwork between 10am until 4pm on Saturday,May 20 and Sunday, May 21.

There are more than 1000 entries from the small schools and judge John Shields will travel from Sydney to assess the artwork on Saturday morning.

Community members are invited to come along and admire the exhibition. The Small School Art Show is held across the road from the Red Cross Currabubula Art Show also on this weekend.
