In doing so, Duri-Currabubula also advanced to round five of the competition.
The team previously defeated West Tamworth Public School and Tamworth Public School.
That enabled them to move to round four of the knockout competition.
They next play Calare Public School in Orange.
The Duri-Currabubula team consists of six girls from Currabubula Public School and six girls from Duri Public School.
The players are drawn from Years 3, 5 and 6.
Duri Public School principal Craig McDonald congratulated the girls on their effort.
He also thanked Natalie Crittle, Charmaine Kesby and Currabubula Public School principal Cathie McMaster for helping with coaching, scoring and transporting the team throughout the year.
