Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall joined TAFE NSW Digital General Manager Megan Aitken on Friday to announce the commencement of recruiting.
“The placement of these high-level leadership positions in Armidale is a big vote of confidence for the region and will lead to further recruitment and more opportunities to keep our local talent in the area,” Mr Marshall said.
Ms Aitken said the first three roles made available on Friday included Head of Digital Learning Lab, Head of Digital Design and Head of Product Management.
“I think if we attract the right people we absolutely are at the centre and forefront of of introducing new technology for our online students,” she said.
“In digital design – we’ll have a whole team of instructional designers coming to Armidale and delivering content that’s actually digitally enhanced to give students access to technology that they will probably work with beyond TAFE.”
