The team played four matches from Friday to Sunday and while they were competitive in every game, they weren't able to secure a win.
They opened their campaign against Cairns and went down 9-6.
"We made too many errors in one innings and let four unearned runs in that first game and that cost us,” coach Dale Smith said.
"The second game was against Newcastle. We were leading that game 6-2 and ended up losing 8-6. One bad innings with errors cost us.”
The final two matches were against a strong Illawarra team in which they narrowly missed securing victories. "The Illawarra side had two Australian players in it as well so they were very dominating in their performances,” Smith said. "Every one of our guys played well.”
