Having already contested the 15s championships, this weekend the zone sends a side to Port Macquarie for the 7s championships.
The Kookaburras have been drawn in Pool 2 alongside Central Coast, recently-crowned 15s Country champions Hunter and New England, and will start their campaign against the Lions at 9.40am on Saturday.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” coach Dale Beattie said.
Next month the U17s head to Nelson’s Bay for the inaugural U17s championships.
The squad to contest the May 13 and 14 titles, and to be led by Warialda’s Molly Kennedy was named by Beattie on Tuesday.
