WorkforceXS handles what could be difficult processes for families as well as matching disability support workers with clients, providing a one-on-one service.
"We ensure the disabled person, or their family, has the worker of their choice," disability support coordinator Kathy Miller said.
Carers from WorkforceXS assist clients with daily activities, such as personal care, social and life skills and more.
"My role is to assist with the recruitment of the right worker and to ensure the needs of our clients are met," Ms Miller said.
It's been a rewarding time for Ms Miller, who has been with the company for two-and-a-half years.
“The feedback that I receive is amazing and inspiring”, she said.
"I remember one client didn’t have the skills to order his own lunch.
"Our support worker taught the client life skills to the point where he could confidently order and pay for his lunch at Subway.
“It was gratifying to see this client's growing independence."
