The ‘Are You Fit 4 Farming?’ workshop will be held at Loomberah Hall and Spring Ridge Country Club next week – and tomorrow is the last day to register.
A “brain and body workshop for rural men and women of all ages”, the event will cover first aid, fitness and flexibility, a positive mindset and good nutrition.
There will also be mini health checks, and a morning tea and lunch provided.
Tamworth Regional Landcare Association and the NSW Department of Primary Industries Rural Resilience Program are running the events for people in rural communities.
The presenters will be NSW Ambulance representatives, Rural Fit’s Tom Hungerford, NSW DPI rural support worker Caroline Hayes, and nutritional consultant Caroline Cudmore.
