FUNDRAISING has never smelled so good.

A Tamworth businesswoman is leading the local charge in raising money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Scentsy director Melissa Laupepa is urging businesses or residents in the area to purchase Sebastian, a Starlight Bear Scentsy Buddy, with $11 from each sale heading directly to the foundation. Mrs Laupepa and her team will also donate 100 per cent of their commission to the cause.

She’s urged residents to consider buying a scentsy buddy (a bear with an added scent pack inside) and donating it back to her team who will then distribute them to children in hospitals. Each bear comes with its own ‘birth certificate’ so its recipient will know the name of the business, or individual, who donated to the cause.

Tamworth burns victim Josh McCulloch is one of many local youths who have benefited from the work of the Starlight Foundation; and said they brought a little extra light during a dark time. For more information, or to purchase a bear, contact Mrs Laupepa on 0428 852 777.
