Budding young artists are being called on to help promote the fire safety message as part of a statewide competition – and have the chance to win some great prizes including an Xbox Minecraft bundle from Microsoft, LEGO City packs.

Supported by the NSW Department of Education, the Fire and Rescue NSW Brigade Kids Champion Competition encourages children from Kindergarten to Year 2 to create a poster that promotes one of three essential fire safety messages:

  • Practice your Escape Plan and have a Safe Meeting Place
  • Get Down Low, and Go, Go, Go
  • Call Triple Zero (000) in the case of a fire

The competition will run from March 13 to April 23, 2017, with entries to be submitted at www.brigadekids.com
