A group of students, and some enthusiastic teachers, joined forces for the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave, on Wednesday.
Students had the opportunity to vote for the ‘hairstyle of choice’ for the senior boys; and it was the ‘mullet’ that garnered the most gold coin donations.
Combined with a mufti day at the school, the great shave took place inside the school hall, with the winners of a silent auction taking to the stage, to do the shave.
The girls’ campus also wore plain clothes in a show of support for their male counterparts.
The silly hair-dos only lasted for one day though, with the participants undergoing the full shave soon after.
