It will also be a huge “family friendly day” said Scone Race Club chief executive Heath Courtney.
“We’ve got slides, jumping castles and face painting for the kids,” he said.
“We’ll also have the who’s who of NSW Racing here.”
The running rail had been out 3m for the previous meeting where Art D’Amour maintained his unbeaten record.
While the Cody Morgan trained gelding has won four from four starts he isn’t the only unbeaten horse in the 28-strong nomination list.
Paul Messara’s Caerless Choice is also nominated and has won three from three for his Scone trainer.
Tamworth trainer Mark Mason may have multiple starters with Strictly Concert (74) and De La Hoya (66) also making the qualifier.
Fellow Tamworth trainer Lesley Jeffriess seems assured of running with good mare Lonely Orphan (70).
