Residents were out stocking up at the monthly Hallsville Country Market, with everything from wood work to bric-a-brac, breakfast to books on offer.
Some chose to beat the heat early out and about, before the mercury hit a top of 30 degrees in Tamworth on Sunday.

Up to 30mm of rain could fall on Tamworth throughout the week with 6mm being dumped on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
